An exhibition entitled ""The Love of Light. Photography in the 20. and 21. Century" (Die Liebe zum Licht. <Fotografie im 21. Jh.) will be showing in a groupshow including Chantal Michel which will tour to three museums in Germany: from July 19 to September 27, 2006 the museum in Celle, Germany
Its reflecting - for the first time and by means of an impressive sequence of images - on the multitude of facets that constitute the relations developed between the photographers of the 20th and 21st century and the artistic and material substance of photography. The spacious Bochum Museum of Art is showing over 220 works by 76 international artists, bringing them together to form a single image, which is physically accessible to visitors and challenging in its multidimensionality.
Other artists included: Bernhard Johannes Blume, Nan Goldin, Candida Höfer, Axel Hütte, Sigmar Polke, Thomas Ruff, Jörg Sasse, Timm Ulrichs.
The exhibition will also be shown in: Städtische Galerie Delmenhorst (October 8 - December 29, 2006), Kunstmuseum Bochum (January 13 - March 30, 2007).

Chantal Michel was working a few months on a new series of photo- and videoworks in the famous Grandhotel Bürgenstock, Switzerland
From August 4th 2006 (until August 19th) those new works will be shown for the first time at the place where they where created.
